Ivy Foley is a beautiful, fun loving, kind, witty and talented 9-year-old girl. She was recently diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma (a rare form of cancer) and has begun her treatments. As you can imagine this is devastating news for any parents, as well as for Ivy herself, but they are ready to do everything to beat this! Ivy is one competitive girl who loves to win and this will be no exception! She will have a cheering section like never before for this fight!
Right now her treatment plan will involve hospital stays about every other week to receive her chemo, along with at home treatments in-between. It is expected to last 6-8 months and then reassess the tumor and how she is responding. Even with insurance, there will still be a sizable cost that Scott and Lindsay will be responsible for. Not to mention missed work and loss of income, cost of gas to and from the hospital and other appointments, and additional unforeseen costs. Lindsay will also be cutting back a lot on her pie business that she has worked so tirelessly to build up, resulting in more lost income, and will instead be channeling much of that time and energy into Ivy's care.
We started this page to help raise a portion of the money that they will need to help cover all these costs. We love Ivy and the Foley family so much! They aren't just friends, but chosen family. With all the weight and worry they are carrying as they start this fight, removing just a little bit of that from their shoulders financially would be such a blessing for them and such an easy thing for us to collectively help with. No amount is too small!
Though we will be making updates to this page on how Ivy is doing, you can also follow along on her and her family's journey at:
Thank you so much!
