When I first walked through the shelter, I wasn’t sure which dog I would meet that day. Then I saw Ivy. She looked right at me, and in that moment something happened—she slowly got up, wagged her tail as if to say “Please don’t leave without me.” That was it. I knew she was the one. I brought her home that day, and she has filled my life with love, loyalty, and a happiness I didn’t know I was missing.
Ivy is not just a dog to me—she is family. She has been there through my best days and my hardest days, always with that same wagging tail and soft eyes reminding me that I’m loved.
But now Ivy needs me, and I can’t do this alone.
Ivy recently tore her ACL and already had surgery on her other leg just a month ago. Now she can barely walk. She limps, she cries, and every step seems to bring her pain. Seeing her like this is breaking my heart. She still tries to wag her tail and look at me with hope, but I can see how much she’s hurting.
The only way to give Ivy back the life she deserves—running, playing, and living pain-free—is to get her ACL repaired. The surgery is expensive, and while I would give anything for her, I cannot cover it on my own.
Ivy was once a shelter dog waiting for someone to believe in her. I believed in her then, and I’m asking you to help me believe in her future now. Every single donation, no matter the size, will bring us closer to seeing her run again, tail wagging, free of pain.
She gave me her heart the day she stood up in that shelter and chose me. Now it’s my turn to fight for hers. Please help me give Ivy the happy, pain-free life she deserves.
