Ivy Orchestra Takes NYC

Ivy Orchestra is a brand new nonprofit made for both college musicians of the Ivy League and to benefit young musicians in New York City. Our mission is to both demonstrate how powerful music is in a complete education and to enable youth to follow in our footsteps. You can read more about our mission on our website.

We have a number of projects we are working on. The largest project is an orchestra festival culminating in a benefit concert. The proceeds of that concert will go to Education Through Music. Beyond that, we are working on outreach programs in schools as well as a free college admission information session.

All funds raised will be used for our operating costs: venue, insurance, coaches, soloist, conductor, travel, music. Our staff is made up of volunteers from every Ivy League university, and are dedicated to bringing this project into reality.

This organization is important to me and to our team largely because of how important music was growing up and now. We truly believe in our mission, and need your help turning this project into reality.

Thank you!
DG Kim
