As you all know, the Ivy Inn has been a Princeton staple since 1966. They have worked diligently to attract a loyal and diverse clientele who has enjoyed many an hour there.
With the current COVID-19 global pandemic they have been forced to close their doors and put their incredible staff out of work for the foreseeable future much to their dismay! As they readily agreed this was the right course of action to flatten the curve for their beloved community, it has thrust the staff into a time of uncertainty.
As such a GoFundMe account has been created to raise funds that will be used strictly to provide a little relief to the great bartenders, doormen and cooks working at the Ivy. As anyone that has worked in the service industry is well aware, the majority of money comes from tips.
I know times are tough for everyone right now. If you can afford a donation to this great staff, it is much appreciated. I’m sure whoever is reading this has many a funny story from a time at the Ivy and I’m hoping those memories, and a little help from our friends, can sustain this great staff until we can see them in person again!
