On May 29th,2018, my father lost the battle for his life and unfortunately, our family is left with the burden of funeral costs. 
My father, Ivy Horton, was a military veteran and father of 4. He was born in Texas before coming to California and starting a family.  He was a man with a good heart and a passion for people who suffered a lot of physical and psychological issues due to injuries suffered through his military service. In addition to his physical and psychological issues, he suffered fatal issues due to a negligent healthcare system (VA hospital).  Due to neglect with his diabetes, my father acquired a gangrene infection that became too much to overcome. My siblings and I have been back and forth to the Longview / VA hospital as he battled with the blood disease and fought for his life. He fought long and hard and was told many times over this last few months that he wouldn’t make it through the night but he did!  After several surgeries and countless prayer, he was called home May 29th, 2018. We hope to put funeral service together that will take place June 23rd, with your financial support. We appreciate any help you can give.  God Bless!
