My name is Brad Edmondson and I am a friend of the Coombs family. I'm raising money to help Brandur and Shannon with their 3 year old daughter Ivy's cancer fight.
Recently, it's been discovered that Ivy has a tumour on her kidney. On Monday, November 28th Ivy had surgery at Children's hospital to remove her kidney. She came through surgery like a trooper and is currently in chemotherapy.
The money raised will help Shannon and Brandur pay for medications, missed time from work, and relieve some of the financial pressure so they can focus on helping Ivy get better. As a parent, I can only imagine how hard it must be to have a young child sick with cancer.
The Coombs are a great family and and it would be really nice to help them out in their time of need.
