Hi everyone, I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for a little help for my 5-year-old girl, Ivy.
Recently, Ivy was diagnosed with severe eye pressure (glaucoma), a painful condition that will eventually lead to her losing her sight. While we were processing that news, things took a turn for the worse: Ivy developed a serious infection in one eye. To save her from constant pain and further complications, she had to undergo an emergency surgery to have the eye removed.
Where We Are Now
Since November, Ivy and I have been at the vet every single week. Between the surgery costs, specialized medications, and constant follow-ups, the medical bills have become overwhelming. To make matters more difficult, my car broke down at the exact same time, forcing me to use my rent money to cover these emergency expenses.
Beyond the Surgery:
• 3-Day Hospital Stay: Ivy needed 24/7 monitoring and IV fluids to get through the initial infection.
• Medications: Pain management and pressure drops to save her remaining eye for as long as possible.
• The "Next" Surgery: Because her condition is progressive, her remaining eye will eventually need the same procedure. We are already bracing for that inevitable cost while still drowning in the current ones.
How You Can Help
I am doing everything I can to get back on my feet and ensure Ivy has a comfortable, pain-free life as she adjusts to her "new normal."
There are 3 ways you can support us:
• Donate: Any amount—even the cost of a coffee—goes directly toward Ivy’s surgery debt and upcoming treatments.
• Shop My Wardrobe: I am listing several items of clothing and shoes for sale on Vinted and my instagram @necromancer_vintage If you see something you like, your purchase helps me cover my rent and keeps us afloat this month plus it will help with the future expenses cause eventually her remaining eye will have the same fate.
• if you can’t donate or purchase please share this link with your friends, family & social media to help us reach more people.
Ivy is only 5 years old and has so much life left to live. She is the bravest girl I know, and I just want to make sure she feels safe, loved and most importantly pain free during this transition.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading, sharing, or donating. It truly means the world to both of us.
