Ivory VS a car :(

I never thought I would be starting one of these. My grandpas dog got hit by a car. We are all crushed. Ivroy came to us dragging a chain last year emaciated, an abused. We found out that she had been left in a car for days to die. She came to us right after a neighbor smashed the window to let her out. It took her a month to even stand tall or wag her tail she was so damaged and fearful of people. Over the last year we watched her go from terrified, to a bit unpredictable not trusting new faces to one of the smartest sweetest dogs. She is friendly, silly, good with other dogs, even cats and finally loves meeting new faces. She really rehabilitated and became such a joy. She is our responsibility however we were not prepared for this kind of expense. We have looked into other options but unfortunately do not qualify. She is still eating and driking water and determine to try to walk around. However she is badly injured on her left side, an has a deep gash that will need care. We are not sure what the ending cost will be but would appreciate any help. I just cant imagine having to put down such a sweet girl who's silly spirit still shows through her pain. Shes fighting so we are fighting for her.
