Dear friends, family, parents of my students and photo clients,

I am reaching out to request your support in raising funds for my oral reconstruction. While abroad, I was involved in a serious accident that resulted in a jaw fracture, the loss of part of my maxilla (the bone that supports the upper teeth) and the loss of six teeth. To fully repair the damage, I will require a multi-phase treatment that includes a bone graft. I also sustained a tear in one of my leg muscles, for which I am receiving therapy.

I traveled with my daughter to celebrate my brother's wedding with my family. Unfortunately, this serious incident occurred the day after arriving in Costa Rica, which required me to extend my stay for medical treatment.

I will undergo several procedures in Costa Rica, which are more affordable than in the United States, but the cost of reconstruction will still be high.

As a Spanish teacher for children, being able to communicate effectively is crucial for my job. Due to this, I must undergo the treatment process as soon as possible.

The total estimated cost for the entire process, including surgery and dental work root canals, extractions, provisionals and ultimately implants, is approximately $18,000.
