I've been doing reporting on protests and other demos (including many of NYC's recent #BlackLivesMatter/#EricGarner protests) for a while now. You probably know me from my Twitter page:

. All the marching, running from cops, traveling, and picture-taking has really put some wear-and-tear on my equipment (e.g. my sneakers, my MetroCard, my phone, my laptop).

So I'd like to ask all of you to help me out and donate whatever you can so I can get some new kicks, keep money on my MetroCard, fix my phone (which was damaged during the MillionsMarch), and continue reporting and livetweeting from all these different protests and demos.

Any amount you can give would be greatly appreciated and will help me continue reporting on the events that the mainstream news won't cover.
