IVF treatment to help us finally have our baby

When I was 21 I was diagnosed with endometriosis and Pcos, I was told that I wouldn’t be able to have children, devastating news to hear. 20 years later I met the man of my dreams and my soul

mate (soppy I know but true) 6 months after being together to my shock and surprise I fell pregnant, we were the happiest we have ever been and so excited to start our family. We were getting married in the December that year and everything felt like it was coming together perfectly.

I ordered a slightly bigger dress as thought by then I would have a baby bump. Sadly in the October I had a miscarriage and we were both devastated, my body was still acting like I was pregnant and was so hard to finally tell myself that our baby had gone. We have been trying since November 2023 to conceive again but sadly this has not happened. My heart breaks every month

and with every negative test I get. The doctors refered us to a fertility specialist last year when I found out I have a low amount of eggs due to me then being 42. I started treatment for ovulation in the summer last year in the hope that would help but sadly it hasn’t. We had a call with the specialist and he said that the only way we can fall pregnant is to have ivf treatment. The specialist told us this is not available to us as now 43 years old I have gone past the age to have the treatment on the nhs. We would need to pay privately to have this done. This is absolutely breaking my heart and my husbands. Even though we both work full time we could never save the

£13,000 that we need for this. All we want is to complete our family and any donations would be gratefully received to finally have our bundle of joy that we both wish for every day.
