IVF is their only way to successful pregnancy
Donation protected
Reyna is a beloved preschool teacher who pours so much love into the kids in her classroom; this is where I met Reyna. My daughter mentioned Reyna’s name countless times at home while she was one of her students. She still is one of her favorite “teacher friends ever”. Needless to say, she leaves a lasting impression as she’s such a special lady.
It is only recently that Reyna has shared her infertility struggles and it breaks my heart. This is why I decided to create this fundraiser. Some of us know what it feels like when your significant other comes to you and tells you, “guess what… we’re pregnant!”. The joy, the rush, the anticipation, the anxiety, the excitement - a variety of emotions. It seems so easy to some that a couple could just get pregnant.
Has it ever dawned on you the experience of one who’s been struggling to conceive? It’s a tough road, one traveled by a couple of people I’ve known and someone that we’ve all known. We take for granted that anyone can just get pregnant. There’s a different set of emotions connected to the tiring effort of trying to conceive. One can only imagine.
Can we help two high school sweethearts Reyna and Frankie who met at the age of 17 ( in 2007) have the happy ending they are dreaming of?
After 15 years of love, and 5 years of trying to start a family, Reyna was diagnosed with PCOS, fibroids, and blocked fallopian tubes. Even with these challenges, Reyna and Frankie’s determination never faltered. Reyna has undergone multiple surgeries and IUI to finally have her wish of becoming pregnant come true, only for it to be painfully taken away from a miscarriage.
Reyna has selflessly devoted her life to the loving and caring of children and we’d like to help her achieve her dream. IVF has become the last viable option for Reyna and Frankie and unfortunately their insurance will not help subsidize the cost of the journey.
We kindly ask for your help in making this life-long wish come true. For those who know and love Reyna and Frankie to those who understand the struggle, any amount and/or words of encouragement is greatly appreciated.
