Hi, my name is Allison, and my fiancé and I have been on an 8-year-long fertility journey filled with hope, heartbreak, resilience, and love.
After years of trying to conceive naturally, we were eligible for one government-funded IVF cycle, which resulted in 8 embryos. We had so much hope—but sadly, that round ended in two chemical pregnancies (early miscarriages). Each transfer was emotionally and physically draining. The joy of imagining our baby was met time and time again with the crushing pain of loss.
Despite the heartbreak, we’re choosing to try again—this time with a new clinic and renewed hope. We are planning to start our second IVF cycle in January 2026, and we are praying that this will be the journey that finally brings our baby Graham into the world.
We are asking for support from our community to help us cover the overwhelming costs of IVF. We are hoping to raise $25,000, which will go toward:
• $10,000 for IVF treatment
• $10,000 for medications and supplements
• $5,000 for genetic testing (to help identify viable embryos and reduce the risk of miscarriage)
We had partial insurance at the beginning of our journey, but we’ve already maxed out its $12,000 lifetime cap. We’ve also paid over $10,000 out-of-pocket for past treatments. We’re committed to covering any additional expenses on our own, but we simply can’t do it all without help.
As vulnerable as this is to share, we know we’re not alone. So many people have shown us love and support over the years—and now, we’re asking one more time: if you feel moved, please consider donating, sharing, or simply sending us love and hope. Every dollar brings us closer to building the family we’ve been dreaming of.
With love,
Allison Barta & Michael Graham
