IVF For Nayl's 31st Birthday.

Donation protected
My best friend since seventh grade fell madly in love while in college in Puerto Rico...
Before I knew it, she was bringing home (to CA) this beautiful, funny, kind, caring soul to meet her family and friends. She had raved about him to me through phone, visits, messages...and I thought she was crazy...until I met him for myself.

Meeting Nayl was to meet a walking angel.
A nurse, a great friend, a hard worker, a passionate soul, a wild spirit...
Nayl was truly "the entire package."
And he made it very clear he was unquestioningly in love with my best friend.

Nayl was the type to work nonstop, and still drive from Texas to California without stopping to surprise Marta.
The type to work at a veteran's hospital two hours away just for the benefits, as well as working at a local hospital, just to save for the future.
The type to jump out of a plane multiple times so he can skydive alone.
The type to fight for just pay within the hospital system for the workers.
The type to have me, his wife's best friend, hide in the bushes in Yosemite to photograph their proposal.
The type to make a "fake prom" just because Marta had never gone.
The type to love, love, love.
The type to give absolutely everything to his family, no matter what.

Nayl and Marta planned on having a destination wedding in the place they fell in love, San Juan, in 2020 but unfortunately Covid happened and they were forced to postpone it a year...

In January 2021, Nayl got diagnosed with a rare form of sarcoma cancer.

By July 2021, Nayl lost his life to the cancer.

He left behind his wife, my best friend, Marta, who has been spending every single day mourning her best friend and lover and partner.

She has been lost and alone.

Fortunately, one of the things Nayl left was his frozen legacy.
As Marta considers IVF and prepares for the possibility of continuing their future alone, she is confronted with many obstacles, feelings, and costly expenses.

Please help me take care of Marta the way I know Nayl would if he was still here.
Please help Marta continue the growth of their family.
Please help.

She won't ask, but I'll ask for her.
I've never met a more deserving couple.
They deserve this opportunity, even if he's not here on Earth to witness it.
