IVF for Jayden and Kali
Donation protected
Jayden and Kali, my son-in-law and daughter, have been married for nearly 7 years. They were blessed with a baby boy, Knox, just a year and a half later. Kali has always wanted to have several children and be a stay home mom. Unfortunately, the last 4 1/2+ years have been one struggle after another to try to conceive another child.
Jayden and Kali started trying to conceive another child when Knox was 8 months old. After months of trying, Kali sought medical advice and had it confirmed that she had PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). She began hormonal treatments and for an entire year went on the medication, Clomid, every month. This was an emotional roller coaster for her and her family.

Still hopeful, Jayden and Kali began to try to conceive using the procedure of an IUI (intrauterine insemination). This is far less expensive than IVF, yet just as emotional, and mentally draining.
Jayden and Kali have undergone 6 IUI's. Each time with new hope, new hormonal therapy/dosages, etc. Their 5th IUI was a success! They conceived only to lose the baby just a week later.
The miscarriage was very hard on Jayden and Kali. Kali especially felt hopeless and defeated during this time. She sought more and more medical advice, including counseling to prepare her mind, body and spirit for her 6th and final IUI. It was unsuccessful.
Jayden and Kali met with their doctor and reviewed all of their medical history. After his review, the doctor told Jayden and Kali that Kali's C-section with baby Knox may have likely damaged Kali's fallopian tubes and may be an indicator that Kali's only way to conceive a child is through IVF (in vitro fertilization). With the new insight, Jayden and Kali have decided to proceed and begin the next step, IVF.
The last nearly 5 years have been emotionally, mentally, physically and financially draining. However, they desperately want more children. Jayden and Kali are such loving and dedicated parents to Knox. Every day for the past 2 years Knox talks about when his little brother or little sister comes. He looks forward to the day that he will be a big brother with such faith, hope and excitement. He is so sweet, tender and believing. Jayden and Kali know that this next step, IVF, is the right thing for them to try at this time.

We would appreciate any support you might be able to offer to them as they begin the process of IVF. The procedure is very costly and is not covered by insurances. The first $10,000 needs to be paid by the first ultrasound which is the 2nd week of January. The following amounts, which will likely exceed the total amount of $20,000, will be billed and paid for in the consecutive couple of months. Your financial contribution is more than just a financial contribution; it speaks loudly in the belief of humanity and the goodness in the world. Thanks for believing, hoping and helping Jayden and Kali.
