Jeg har oprettet en GoFundMe for min far Iver Neve Grün. Siden hans sidste Facebook opslag, er det gået rigtig stærkt. Det var kun tilfældigt han blevet stukket af et insekt. Da han blevet dybere undersøgt fand de en tumor i hans venstre lunge hvilket har påvirket hans vejrtrækning. Det udviklede neumonía og kidney failure. Han blevet sat i coma for at undgå flere smerter og give hans krop mulighed for at slappe af men desværre var hans hjerte for træt og skadet af kræften og den gav op i nat. Han bliver begravet i Puerto Barrios, Guatemala i løbet af weekenden. Han bliver husket som den smilende far med dårlig jokes og gode råd. Ham der kunne lide at nyde et par Aalborg akvavit efter en sildemad og altid havde en spændende historie at fortælle.

Pengene fra donationen bliver brugt til at dække noget af de udgifter fra hospitalet samt kisten, sten og andre begravelse udgifter.

Hello,

I have created this GoFundMe for my father Iver Neve Grün. Since his last Facebook post regarding his health, it has gone pretty fast. It was pure coincidence he was stung by an insect, due to this they have checked him and they found a tumor on his left lung which was actually the main reason for him losing ability to breath normally. The cancer has spread out through several organs and affected his bronchus, heart and kidney. His issues breathings led to his heart becoming weak and arrhythmic. In order to give his body a chance to rest and recover, a coma was induced although his heart was too weak and finally gave up. He will be buried in Puerto Barrios, Guatemala during the course of the weekend. He will be remembered as the smiling father with flat jokes and good advice, a man that enjoyed his Aalborg akvavit paired with a good Herring while telling some of his amazing stories from travelling the world as a captain.

The money from the donations will be used for covering a part of the medical bills, his grave stone and the funeral expenses.
