I’ve written my first children’s book!!

Hey!! My name is Amber and I’ve written my very first children’s book entitled “Patience”. It’s a story to help children and parents alike learn the importance and reward of having patience in your everyday life. It takes on a journey as a little girl by the name of Patience wants to have the most beautiful flower and against her mothers advice of buying a package of seeds to plant and grow on her own she chooses a rose that has already been picked and cut at the roots. As the days go by she notices her once beautiful rose has withered and she is heart broken. She runs to her mom saddened but when her mom takes her outside to the garden she seeing something magical and learns a very important lesson.

I wrote this book as part one of a series that centers on core values and characteristics that we want our children and ourselves to have show evidence on our lives: The Fruits of The Spirit. These books are a fun way to help instill and empower the Now Generation (as I call them) in learning how to take root and reap the fruit that can be shared with others.

I have battled for the past two years on creating a GoFundMe to help get my first book published and the others that are currently in the works because I wanted to figure it out on my own and do whatever I could from research to phone calls with publishers all with no true success. So after many hours of research and dead ends self publishing is the option that I decided to go with not truly knowing the amount of funds it would take to get my book on shelves and in the hands of children, families, and ministries. After swallowing my pride and being reminded the importance and value in community I decided to go for it. To create a GoFundMe an opportunity for those I know and for those I don’t that happen to come across this page to help be apart of my journey. To help be apart of creating books that bring value and teachings in a fun way to our children, our future, the Now Generation.

I understand that not everyone is in an area to give or donate or some just don’t feel comfortable doing so on this type of platform. But you are saying to yourself you still want to be involved you still want to see this book series come to print, i’ll ask of you for prayers. Prayer changes things, prayer makes things happen, prayer is powerful and important.
