I’ve Lost My Vision

My name is Kevin Lewis and I am blind. Following a laser refractive surgery, I became faced with the most devastating outcome. I lost my sight. The past two years I have been working to adapt to a life without sight. It has not come without its challenges and I am not giving up hope to regain my sight. Little is known about this surgically induced disease, Ectasia, in which the cornea has lost its structural integrity resulting in blindness. Although it’s a rare condition, the number of individuals that have been affected are much more prevalent than what has been reported. I am asking for your help through this GoFundMe. As you can imagine, my life as been turned upside down and has put myself and my family through much adversity. I would love your support and the funds will go towards on going treatment and resources to help myself and my family navigate through my daily life. We are not giving up despite this setback. We have a website under construction that we will update on my progress and give further details on beating this disease. Thank you for your support.
