A recent post I made went viral. And for posting a 100 year old quote from a famous attorney, my family has become the targets of violent right-wing radicals.

This will be a challenge to navigate, and your help is crucial to bolster the legal defense I may need against the continuing harm I and my family are enduring. Potential legal costs are not something a normal person can carry on their own. If you feel the same chill that I now feel all from a simple comment on the news, please consider giving as if you yourself had become the focus of unrepentant hate and violence.

It's clear that the goal is to terrorize people and make them afraid by attacking their jobs, and pressuring those who care little about American Rights to do their dirty work. As someone who has served our country uniform I am saddened by the divisions and injustice I see daily across our country, and the relentless attacks on people who have been marginalized and are the least able to have their voices heard. So I spoke up against hate speech, not the man but the words.
