Two months ago Ivan was diagnosed with leukemia and is currently undergoing chemotherapy at University of California Medical Center. The treatment is intense and he is in great pain. His mother, Cristina has not left his side since the diagnosis and his sister, Nallely is also with him. Both are living in his hospital room, suffering through long sleepless nights and days with him.

Needless to say, Cristina and Nallely are not able to work during the time they are with Ivan. This is causing enormous financial hardship to the entire family.
