Hi, my name is Leo and I collect money for my childhood friend Ivan. Ivan moved to Edmonton, AB from Ukraine less than 2 weeks ago along with his wife July and 8 y.o. daughter.
This morning while he was waiting for a bus on his way to work, Ivan was stabbed at a bus station. The injuries are serious and he is currently in the hospital undergoing surgery.
Ivan started working on his 3rd day in Canada and he is the only source of income for his family.
They have no friends or family in Edmonton and are running out of money soon.
