Hi family and friends,

On the 1st of September (Fathers Day) our beloved Ivan suffered a massive heart attack and was medevaced (transported by helicopter) to Cairns Base Hospital from Innisfail.

After a number of tests he will be transferred to Brisbane’s Prince Charles Hospital for surgery.

The family are seeking assistance to help with costs to transfer and accomodate his partner Elfreda Mooka and his sister Ivy Parker to Brisbane to be with Ivan to support him through this surgery and be with him after, as he will be required to stay in Brisbane for an additional 2 weeks post op.

Ivan will also require medical assistance for a duration of time once he returns to Cairns/Innisfail.

Any assistance will be very much appreciated by the family during this worrying time.
