Iva needs our help!   Thanks to another friend who started a Go Fund Me page after Iva's car died a couple of years ago, she was able to purchase another (used) car that would enable her to get to San Francisco weekly for the essential, LIFE-SAVING  infusions needed (ongoing) to treat a rare disease Iva has had to deal with most of her life, called Fabry's disease, and which has only gotten worse as she has aged.  Unfortunately, there is no where else closer to her home in Healdsburg to get these infusions - and no other method of transportation to enable her to get there that often and fairly quickly.  She ended up with a 2006 Toyota Prius - a great car for saving on gas... but when the battery finally goes, it's extremely expensive to replace.  And now the battery has died and Iva has not been able to go for her infusions for at least three weeks at this point!  We need to raise a minimum of $1700 to get her a new battery - and $2,000 would be even better.  But we need to do this quickly so she doesn't miss more than another week or two at the most!  Please give what you can - and share this request with any others who you feel would also like to help out.
