Firstly to those reading this I just want to thank you for even doing just that. Lyme has been a very painful and private struggle for me since I first got sick 12 years ago. There are a lot of things I could say and pictures I could paint to explain just how much Lyme disease has cost me both in my public and personal life, but instead I’m just trying to focus on getting better! Doing a gofundme has always been the absolute last thing on my radar of options, But unfortunately this just is where I am right now. My parents have paid tens of thousands of dollars for my treatment and medication over the years all out of pocket. I was able to take over the financial responsibility as I got older when things became more manageable, but recently the costs of my  needed treatment have become a little out of my league. Especially as I’m declining and becoming more unable to work. 

The honest reality is that I am enduring a lot of suffering and pain day to day lately. I’m trying to do my best to still enjoy and live my life, but I really need to get above this before it gets above me. My body and mind are slipping away slowly and I would like to catch that line before it’s out of reach. This is what brings me here. 

I’m trying to find my way back to remission and I need some help getting there. I have a really good shot at a full recovery if I can tackle this quickly enough. Anything anyone can do to help is an absolute blessing to me- as the road to remission is an expensive one.  The IV treatment is $5,000 not including the out of state lodging during the week long clinic stay, and the following 2 months of treatment here with my LLMD is about $2,000. I think I can be in remission again by the fall/end of the year if I get in soon. That would mean the world and give me my life back.
