Brothers, Last winter we conducted a 45-day “MORTGAGE PAYOFF WINTER BLITZ”. The idea was to raise $5000 to close a $25,000 gap around what was still needed to be raised to have the house paid off by April 1, 2026. Thanks to the generosity of 53 brothers, we blew that goal away and raised over $27,000! That $27K was applied to the mortgage and we are now on target to pay the house off on April 1, 2026. No balloon payment and no refinancing! All we have to do is pay the monthly mortgage! The House Corp will own the house straight out come April 1, 2026!

BUT… Why wait until April 1, 2026, to send off that last payment? Why can’t we pay the house off even earlier? Our monthly mortgage payment minimum is $2300. So, every $2300 raised for the mortgage is one less mortgage payment the House Corp has to make. Instead of paying the house off in April of 2026 why not pay it off in December 2024 or March of 2025 or September of 2025…?

Introducing MORTGAGE PAYOFF WINTER BLITZ 2

It has been 4 years since we started our mortgage elimination campaigns (Smackdown, Beat the Clock, and 2023 Winter Blitz). When we started this journey, our mortgage was $243,326. As of this month February 2024, our mortgage is down to $63,000. The principal being reduced by over $180,000! We have 26 more mortgage payments to make before April 2026. Wouldn’t it be great if we only had to make 22 or 15 or 9 more mortgage payments?

Our goal is to try and raise $9,200 which would be ONLY 4 MORTGAGE PAYMENTS and have the house paid off at the end of 2025…..22 months from now. Therefore, not cutting it so close to the refinance date. Starting February 24th through April 8 we are conducting a 45-day “MORTGAGE PAYOFF WINTER BLITZ 2”.
