help pay for top surgery

hi! im luke! im an 18 year old trans boy and i would like to get top surgery (or a breast reduction)! this page was mainly made with the intention of sharing it in communities im in and with friends, so i wont be writing very professionally or revealing my trauma.

 

anyway–

 

i have chronic asthma and eczema, and its impacted my life as long as i can remember. being that i live in a hot area as well, binding is a struggle. i actually ditched binding a while back because i simply couldnt deal with it anymore. i had to adapt to not wearing anything over my chest, but at least i wasnt suffering. binding is too tight and too sweaty to be bearable, causing my asthma and eczema to flare up. it hurts more to bind than to suck it up and deal with my chest. on top of this, im a dancer. binding while doing vigorous physical activity causes asthma attacks. even if i dont bind, the amount of discomfort i feel when my chest moves along with me is enough to make me drop what i love completely.

 

i dont expect this to get far, but its worth a shot. my insurance doesnt cover surgeries for cosmetic or psychological reasons, so im left to pay out of pocket. im not working atm, so the only money i have is savings. any and all donations would be beyond appreciated.
