Itty Bitty Kitty NY Cats and Kittens Fundraiser
URGENT! Itty Bitty Kitty currently has over 32 cats and kittens we are providing food and medical care for, and we need your help!
Yesterday we picked up five 7-week old kittens from the Jackie Gleason Bus Terminal, they'll all need to be dewormed, vaccinated and spayed/neutered. This adds to our 27 cats and kittens in our care.
Five of our cats and kittens are with great local fosters, but we are still providing vet expenses for them.
We have an additional 10 semi-feral cats who we rescued from the waterfront when their location was no longer safe for them. They are currently in our holding space, but we are coordinating a transport to take them to a sanctuary in Maryland where they will have indoor/outdoor access, food and water and full veterinary care. But the cost to transfer them to the sanctuary is $350 per cat.
A number of our cats are available for IMMEDIATE ADOPTION! While several others are in need of experienced fosters who can help make sure they are ready for furever homes as soon as possible!
As you can see, our bills are mounting, and we're just at the beginning of kitten season. We are literally drowning in cats and kittens! Soon, we won't be able to take on any more cats or kittens, unless we can raise the funds to continue to care for the cats and kittens in our care.
