Honoring Andie and Casey & Family — Holding Them Through This Passage

It is with deep love and sadness that I ask for your support for my chosen sister, Andie, as she walks through the final days with her beloved husband, Casey.

Many of you know their story. During COVID, Casey suffered a devastating car accident that left him paralyzed. Andie stayed by his side every single day until, against all odds, he learned to walk again.

But only a year later, in 2022, strokes began to steal pieces of him away. Over the past three years, Casey has endured more than 20 strokes, leading to severe dementia. Through every moment — every hospital stay, every setback, every fragile victory — Andie and Casey’s sons have remained steadfastly by his side.

What you may not know is that during all of this, Andie has continued to show up for others in their hardest seasons — holding space, offering healing, and giving strength even as her own life was unraveling slowly. A few months ago, she told me that what fuels her is her deep passion in standing beside people in their deepest traumas, loss & pain. Now, it is our turn to stand beside her.
