It's our turn to help local legend Oz Bayldon
Donation protected
How do you help someone who would much rather focus on helping others, often at their own expense?
Whether its through his tireless volunteering efforts for Noosa Come Together, the Gympie Muster, his Charity 'Events 4 Greater Good', his association with wonderful local social enterprise Making Lives Matter, the girls shelter he's built and continues to support in Nepal, his work with youth both here and abroad, or the all-hours, on-the-ground help in securing accommodation and essential needs for people fleeing DFV, there aren't many people in Noosa who don't know local treasure Oz Bayldon.
We were beyond upset to learn that recently Oz has suffered from a double aneurysm on the brain requiring imminent surgery. There is a long recovery associated with this surgery, and we are wanting to ensure financial stress isn't a barrier to his recovery.
Oz would never dream of asking for assistance, so we've taken matters into our own hands and have organised this GoFundMe ask.
Now is our opportunity as a community to step up and give back to someone who has selflessly served others for decades.
Every contibution, big or small, is gratefully appreciated.
