It's our turn to help a friend and neighbor

"Real strength has to do with helping other" -Mr. Rogers
As a Marine veteran, nurse, and first responder, Nathan has had his fair share of helping others in need. On Monday night (1/15/24) Nathan's apartment caught fire. He suffered an inhalation injury and has burns to his hands and face. Before help arrived Nathan ran around his apartment complex to alert his neighbors. While needing help himself he still stepped up and helped others. Now it is our turn to help him.
Upon arrival to the hospital he required ventilator support. As of this morning his breathing tube has been removed and he is on the road to recovery. While we are overwhelmed with relief and gratitude we know what lies ahead. His apartment was a complete loss. We want to make sure that Nathan is set up in a way that he can focus on getting better without the burden of replacing inanimate objects and stressing over finances.
Nathan is a father, son, brother, friend to many, and now burn survivor. Every little bit helps and is appreciated. If you aren't in a place to donate please share this GoFundMe.
Thank you for your care.
Sincerely,
his concerned cousin, Stephanie
