It's my turn to fight!

This was not on my radar at all. But here I am. Things have been very difficult since Nathan's passing. I've been doing the best I can and missing him every minute of every day. . . Everything changed on October 31, 2024. I basically woke up that morning and had no mobility on my left side. Went to the ER and a CT scan revealed a brain tumor. WTH?? I was stunned and transferred to UC San Diego for surgery. They removed a tumor but pathology later revealed a malignant glioblastoma. They explained that removing it is like picking a weed - you need to get the roots too; the risk of cutting into healthy tissue is high. Often there are cells left behind. Immediate treatment was S.O.C. (standard of care): 6 weeks of radiation and 5 days a week with chemo pills. Finished that part. The nature of this tumor is aggressive; it likes to come back. The doctors have suggested continuing with the chemo pills 5 days a week for 6 more months. Before I make a decision about S.O.C. I need to see an "Alternative Oncologist," Dr. Leanna Standish. She is well known in the field and has medicals degrees from the UW and Bastyr in Seattle, WA. Alternative protocol is cash pay - completely worth it, but expensive. So here I am asking for help so I can beat this thing!
