It's My Birthday - Let's Do Good Together!

Hi. For those who don't know me - my name is Dasha. I am a Ukrainian. Today is my birthday, but the only thing I can think of is my family back home. What is used to be a happy day full of joy and happy moments, turned into a sad reminder of horrifying events which started on 24th of February. Just imagine waking up on your birthday, checking messages from your friends and family (Canada has 7 hrs difference with Ukraine) and instead of birthday wishes seeing messages that the war has started, your hometown is being shelled, people you know are dying. It has started exactly 3 years ago. I can’t let it paralyze my life any longer. I WANT TO CELEBRATE! Let’s celebrate life and those who are helping to save people. On the photos you see me and my older brother. He is a doctor in Ukraine. In these dangerous conditions where electricity and communication is constantly being disrupted by Russian attacks it is important to have connection and source of power. I want to raise money for Zherelo 250 AERO – it is a communication center and an autonomous battery pack which can be charged by being plugged in and by solar energy.
