It’s just for me to try and enjoy life a bit

Im not sure I feel ethical about this. So many people out there are sick or in extreme dire straits. But, a few friends mentioned this, and it’s come down to the wire.

I’m going home to Hawaii next week to have a radio reunion for the station I worked at, to see an ill friend for the last time I fear, to visit my moms tree where we scattered her ashes, and try to see as many friends as I can.

I'm struggling with money right now, not only for this trip but for rent. I currently have no place to stay in Hawaii and have no “fun”money to feel secure about going. Quite frankly, if it wasn’t for another friend going, I wouldn’t go. I would just eat the ticket that was bought a few months ago. I should be giving what little Hawaii money I have to getting a car… which completely died on me 2 months ago

I know in my heart I would be needing help if I were going to BFE somewhere here on the mainland…. It just happens to be Hawaii.

Im embarrassed and ashamed to be asking for this help. If you unfriend me… I’d understand.
