With a little help from my friends
Donation protected
Dear friends and future friends,
I need your help. For several decades I have been dealing with chronic medical conditions that have slowly been robbing me of the ability to work, express myself and even to think. Due to this I have been falling behind financially, closing my retirement accounts, getting loans, using credit, borrowing from friends and family. Despite my husband trying hard and working 7 days a week without (much) complaint, I am drowning. Please if you can, throw me a lifeline. Even 10 dollars would pay my copay for one month of my cheaper prescriptions.
I am a music teacher, a cellist. My art is being taken from me by my rheumatoid arthritis and carpal tunnel. My studio was suffering before COVID, but that was its deathknell. I would love to start teaching again but I need hand surgery badly as both my hands feel pins and needles almost constantly. Due to life I have quite a few ailments ranging from fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue to bipolar/panic disorder and anxiety. Taking one of my medications for too long has also left me with “swiss cheese brain” which feels like it's stealing my memories. I am still trying to get disability but I understand that there’s a limited number of times that one can apply. I have been advised to get a disability lawyer and so that’s something I would like to save towards. I would also like to get new glasses because I lost mine a year ago but our Kaiser coverage doesn’t come with vision.
Your kind donation will go towards items like my medications (18 prescriptions) which cost from 10 to 300 dollars a month, treatments like my infusions, appointments, new glasses, a lawyer, food, rent, utilities, medical care for my fur babies and dragging me out from this mire of debt and sadness. I thank you in advance for anything you can give, and if you can't then please repost.
Sincerely, Kim
