A year ago, many of you  responded to a critical call for support when our friend, Curtis Cheney, was stricken by a massive stroke combined with complications to his heart. Mounting medical expense and lost income made for an unbearable situation for his family. At that time no one could have imagine the type of year that 2021 might be for so many people. Well for Curtis and Angie I cannot imagine the kind of year it has been. For them it has been a year of stress and trauma, combined with the impacts of a pandemic on healthcare followed by hurricane Ida that left Angie in the dark in Louisiana . A true test of strength and faith armed mainly with trust and love.

 

Curtis continues his struggles with Angie by his side daily. While the battle continues, so does the need for support for them from those who care and can. We need your urgent consideration for donating, once again! Curtis is currently in a rehabilitation facility and Angie would like to bring him home. A social worker and Medicare are aiding Angie in her effort; however she must ensure that Curtis has all the equipment needed to begin what will be a costly long rehabilitation process to restore her husband’s health.
