It’s about more than espresso…

*UPDATE* Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who has contributed to our fundraiser so far. We are now able to get a new machine! Unfortunately, yet another extremely costly and unavoidable situation has hit the shop. The fire codes have been updated in our county (Over a year after we opened and have been operating in compliance...), and we need to update several pieces of equipment in our kitchen in order to stay in business.

The proverbial rain, is pouring...

I have been and will continue to work 12hr days, 7 days a week, to bring down costs and help get the shop out of the red. Please know any help you provide will go directly to update equipment, pay past due bills, and keep our crew employed.

My name is Eric and nearly two years ago I left my corporate life to pursue my dream of owning a coffee shop. The journey has been beautiful, soul affirming, and fun…but also extremely challenging. We are doing our very best to serve our community great coffee and food, and provide a much needed place of employment. Today something happened that put all of it at risk.

Our aging espresso machine finally reached the end of its life.

As you likely know, an espresso machine is the heart of a coffee shop. We are scrambling to find the funds for a replacement during an already very lean and scary time for the shop.

It is very uncomfortable for me to ask for help; even when it is truly needed. I am scared for my business, my staff, my family, and my community.
