I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits.I am writing to you today with a heavy heart,seeking your support and generosity for a cause that is incredibly close for my brother(Suresh Khatri)..The fight against Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria(PNH and Aplastic Anemia).PNH is life-threatening blood disorder that affects a small number of individuals, including someone very dear to me.It is a condition where red blood cells are destroyed prematurely,leading to a range of debilitating symptoms and complications. Coping with PNH is an everyday battle,not justfor the patients,but for their families and loved ones as well.

Aplastic anemia is a rare and serious condition characterized by a deficiency of all types of blood cells caused by thefailure of bone marrow to produce them. This condition leaves the patient vulnerable to infections, bleeding, and fatiguedue to low levels of red blood cells,white blood cells, and platelets.

Thrombosis,on the other hand,refers to the formation of a blood clot inside a blood vessel,which can obstruct blood flowand lead to severe complications such as heart attack,stroke,or pulmonary embolism.

In summary,aplastic anemia,thrombosis,and PNH are interconnected through their impact on the blood and immune system..Aplastic anemia weakens the overall blood cell production,making patients susceptible to various complications,including thrombosis. In the case of PNH,the destruction of red blood cells not only causes anemia but also elevates therisk of thrombosis, adding another layer of complexity to the condition.

Thisrareandlife-threatening blood disorder has affected the life of my brother(Sureshkhatri)everyday,Suresh is currently in urgent need of a bone marrow transplant,a procedure that can potentially save his life and give him a chance for a healthier future.
