It’s a long way to the top if you wanna pick some cones

Hello,

My name is Zac, and I am an arborist from Minnesota. I have recently been accepted to be part of a crew of volunteers working with Ancient Forest Society to collect seeds from the tops of some of the tallest trees in the world in Sequoia National Park. These seeds will be used for genetic conservation and reforestation projects.

I need to get myself out to California with my climbing gear and camping gear. I’m not sure my 20-year-old truck is the best tool for that job, so I am turning to the Internet to find help coming up with the funds for a vehicle rental and gas money. Any little bit is appreciated!

I plan to wear a helmet-mounted video camera while climbing these trees. When I return from the trip, I will edit the footage into a fun adventure video. The video will have a credits reel thanking all the names of people who have donated!
