Help Abasi get Tennis World Ranking
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Abasi Abukusumo. When I was 5, my dad used to take me to a rooftop tennis court and we would play for fun. Those sessions turned serious when I turned 14, but by then most of the kids I was playing against had been training and competing at a high level for almost a decade. I was behind.
I put everything I had into it day and night and 4 years later, I turned pro. During that time I focused on developing my forehand and backhand weapons, and honed my serve which has been clocked at over 130mph.
I am currently on the ITF Futures Tour. I’ve traveled and competed in the United States, Cancun, Mexico and Maputo, Mozambique. What I need now are my ATP points which will give me a world ranking. I’m training to attain between 5-11 ATP points, which lands a world ranking between 1200 and 1000 and positions me to enter the next level of tournaments, ATP Challengers.
But, to get my world ranking I need your help!
Tennis is pretty expensive and everything has to be paid out of pocket by my family. My goal is to raise $50K to support training with my professional tennis coach, physio/fitness coach, and multiple hitting partners, as well as provide the means to compete in 13 tournaments in Egypt, Mexico, and Tunisia, and win my points! I need your support to continue my journey please consider helping me out.
Thank you in advance for your consideration.
