Hi Everyone! I am Jessica Payne, a euphonium player and doctoral student at the University of Kansas. I am so excited to say that I have been selected to play with the Athena Brass Band in Spain this summer for the International Tuba and Euphonium Association Conference and my proposal to have my duo perform at the International Women’s Brass Conference was accepted.

It is such an honor to be able to perform at these events, but it is also very expensive. I have applied for scholarships and grants, but even if I get selected for those, both of these trips together are out of my budget. For both trips, registration for the conferences, travel, lodging, and meals are all expenses that I have to cover myself. Any donations will help cover expenses related to these two trips and expenses associated with them, like passport fees and car rentals.
