I've been given the once in a lifetime opportunity to spend a semester abroad in Bologna, Italy, learning about social justice and cultural and religious perspectives. The program is heavily geared towards encouraging personal growth and knowledge. This trip is a dream come true because I have never traveled to Italy and would love to explore the homeland where my family and Nana, currently 97, come from. My high grades and academic achievements at the University of San Francisco have allowed me to get to this point. The struggle now is to come up with the funds I need to pay for the remaining expenses of my trip...and I only have 2 weeks to do it! Working as many hours as possible at my part-time job, while attending college full-time has only allowed me to save $800. Any and all donations to help me reach my goal of $2,500 will be a blessing.
