Italy Masterclass Fundraiser

I'm looking for help from my friends and family in pulling together funds for an educational experience I will embark on at the end of August. While I am working hard to pull together the funding for this remarkable trip, the support from friends and family will make a huge difference in defraying the costs.
Those of you who know me know that I’ve studied, performed, and taught singing for many years- I’m totally committed to helping change the culture of the United States and the world to something more beautiful. I also know that the better I become, the greater impact I will make.
This summer I have a tremendous opportunity to study with masters in Italy- I will be participating in a week-long Masterclass held in Osimo, Italy, taught by Carmela Altemura and attended by many fantastic young opera singers. I will learn not only Italian Bel Canto technique, but also the artistry in singing, the drama and the use of the imagination. This will be an incredible learning experience, which I will immediately be able to use in both my performing and my teaching.
The program will include daily lessons for all of the students, and will conclude with a concert with a full orchestra.
This will be my very first trip to Europe(!) and I will take a few days after the program to visit Florence, the heart of the Italian Renaissance.
Includes:
$1751 for the masterclass (room and board included)
$700 airfare
$ 320 for 2 days to visit to Florence ($60 trains, $160 air b-n-b housing, museum costs)
$140 1 day in Venice! (trains to-and from, and a walking tour)
$400 for educational expenses before the trip
$500 Concert (venue, musicians, reception)
$400 petty expenses, food, postcards, etc.
I appreciate any donation, however small (or large ) you can make.
Even $10 or $20 will help. The trip is August 22-September 5.
For those in the NYC area, I will be performing a recital as part of my fundraising efforts and hope you all can make it.
