ITALY GOSPEL OUTREACH 2025 FUNDRAISER

We are Paul and Lindsay Whitfield, born again Christ followers who desire to bring God glory through gospel outreach.

MISSION UPDATE:

Thankful our recent donations have paid for our plane tickets in full! Praise God and thank you so much for those of you who have been praying and have been moved to donate to help us reach our final goal. Funds raised now will go toward the train transportation, food and shared lodging costs during the mission. Whether you buy Testify Cafe coffee, Canadian million dollar gospel tracts or simply donate, it will all contribute to the Italy mission trip. Thank you!

We also updated that we have found a translator who knows Italian and Spanish fluently who will be translating during open air evangelism in Rome! We are thankful for his help volunteering.

MISSION SPECIFICS:

-In Florence we will be doing gospel tract distribution and filming at various sights.

-In Bologna, we will serve local missionaries Jennifer and Dan Chaloner by filming video testimonies of local Christians to support their Ministry Essentials Training Program for pastors who desire free additional theological education as they plant evangelical churches throughout Italy. Paul will also be training local video technicians to assist with this on-going project.

-In Rome, we will be teaming up with a small group of Living Waters Ambassador's Academy graduates and local missionaries with Living Waters Italia to do open air preaching, gospel tract distribution and filming locals who are there during the Catholic Jubilee.

We're making every moment count for these various ministries all for the gospel to be made known to more people.

PRAYER POINTS:

-Pray that God would prepare the hearts of those we meet.

-That each local ministry we are supporting would accomplish their goals and feel a deep sense of the global church coming together to encourage them.

-That all involved would be safe and healthy and all transportation and planning would go smoothly.

STATISTICS:

Less than 1% of the church in Italy are evangelical Christians. If a population is less then 2% evangelical Christian, they are considered an unreached people group. The saturation of the Catholic Church and lack of evangelical discipleship to the next generation means there is much mission work to be done. Given this, we will also be participating in gospel outreach while in Italy teaming up with other born-again Christians to reach out to the lost.
