Italia 900 - Naples to Palermo 2023

In May, myself and my friend Trev are cycling a mammoth Italian adenture. We will cycle from Naples to Palermo hugging the coastline all the way. It's roughly an 800 to 900km distance. We'll do it over 8-9 days averaging about 100km per day. Last year we cycled across the Pyrenees but didn't raise any money which I regret. This year we're hoping to raise over €3000 for the Alzheimer's Society of Ireland.

The Alzheimer Society of Ireland is the leading dementia specific service provider in Ireland. They work across the country in the heart of local communities providing dementia specific services and supports and advocating for the rights and needs of all people living with dementia and their carers. With the growing numbers of people living with dementia (more than 4,000 new cases each year), there has never been a greater need for the organisation to be the national leader in advocating for and providing dementia-specific supports and services in Ireland.
