A NEW BEGINNING FOR THE SILVA'S

Donation protected
As many already know to Susan Silva, has End Stage Renal Failure, which led to dialysis a couple years ago.  Even before that it's been quite challenging with the left leg amputation thyroid cancer, heart attack, cardiac arrest leading to coma I could go on. Any of you that know Rob and Susan know they have practically lived at the hospital for years. Because of the many health problems  a kidney transplant no longer became an option.

We have just found out that a kidney transplant could actually be a possibility. But of course it comes with it's complications.

So, let me explain. I currently go to a dialysis center 4-5days a week away from home 6hours a day. Rob had to rearrange his schedule to take me twice a week the other days my insurance supplies transportation of which we are greatful for. The dialysis basically cleans my blood and does what my kidneys don't. Without dialysis the average lifespan is six to eight days where your body shuts down. So I am very greatful for the dialysis. But it comes with it's issues one of the major problems is the amount of strain it puts on the heart.  So the other option is to do home dialysis which there are two types I am only qualified for the one that requires assistance. Insurance doesn't cover that but what they do cover is the training. It really needs to be someone you live with because it's while you sleep.  So yes! Rob! He could do it and he would be perfect because he knows me better than even doctors an nurses so he could discern a problem way before anyone else.  The treatment is a much better cleaning as well as way less taxing on the heart. Studies prove patients quality of life vastly improves which makes for a much healthier bady to receive a transplant .  We have never considered it before because of the fact that Rob is self employed which means no work no money.  But that being said he has taken off months of time to take care of me and God has always provided.  We have never used credit cards or financed  anything but a car. We raised Becky and have always had all we needed..  We are firm believers that "where God Guides, God Provides".  So why not now?  Rob would need to train for two months which would  again affect our income, I receive a small social security check which would never cover rent an utilities and medicine it would barely cover gas an food.  We would need to plan ahead an it would be nice if we could have appointments set. There would be some expenses in modifying the house to accommodate.  It seems like soo much , But we're not talking millions , yes thousands but I have a big God and why would I doubt?  There is a reason I wake up everyday, and when I do I say thank you Lord, use me.  I want to be a light that shines hope and don't get me wrong nqot hope in this life here but hope for my eternal

life. But it sure it a lot easier to share that hope feeling a little better.  But wether I feel good  or bad go to dialysis or home I will Praise The Lord and glorify Him in all of it.

so please I ask first that you pray, pray for me, Rob, that we are doing what He wants, an pray to see if you feel led to help,  we thank you for loving us an always praying for us . Lets see what God can do.
