On Sept 9th Cynda Harris Teachman posted the message below on FB - as of this writing 630 friends have responded to her post. 
She is greatly loved and treasured, and for each of us who have been blessed by    knowing this incredible woman of God - it is easy to understand the response.     

Cynda is now in the fight of her life. 
But this warrior-chick will not be taken down. We all know her unwavering faith    and love of Jesus and we TRUST that His  healing power is already at work in her body.  

Above all we ask for your unceasing prayers.

And - as I'm sure you can imagine - this fight also requires medical help. 
So, now  is our chance to give back.  To bless Cynda.  To support her in real and tangible ways!   

In speaking with Cynda's daughter Chelsea, we have learned that the medical expenses are mounting quickly.  With her surgery coming this Friday 9/18, the  out-of-pocket  expenses already exceed $7500 before any hospital or anesthesia costs being received.

Thus the Lord has raised up "Team Cynda" to organize this campaign.  Your gift will allow the burden of these expenses to be removed - letting Cynda and her family focus solely on her rest, recovery and healing.

CYNDA'S STORY  as posted on FB 9/9/2020

Dear Facebook family,
A few weeks ago, shopping through Target, I saw this T-shirt. Ever have a message stand out to you and you know it’s yours? That’s how I felt about this: “Good things are Coming!”

I have been having some weird health issues and they have gradually increased to the point I knew something was wrong.
Massive headaches, dizziness (the walls kept running into me), I was unable to understand what I was reading and then struggled writing things down as simple as an email address or phone number. Finally, was unable to talk in complete sentences.  For those of you that know me, that is totally weird. I know I have my own made-up Cynda words, but it’s never slowed me down

I contacted my doctor and she immediately sent me in for a CT scan and within an hour I was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor.
More testing and MRI, confirmed the large spot in my brain. The spot that is affected is the part of communication, comprehension, balance, and speech.
My weapon, my purpose and my calling, is my voice.
Today is the first day I have been able to communicate better verbally (couldn’t complete sentences and forgot my kid’s names ) and am excited to be able to text again in complete sentences.

The amazing thing is we can see God’s hands all over the timing in so many ways. My favorite part? The part of my brain that worships and can sit and play new songs is functioning in a new way.
September is the 9th month. It’s the month of new birthing. It was Labor Day weekend that this was confirmed and, I literally, was “laboring” through transitioning and processing what’s next.
I believe that something great is getting ready to take place. I don’t know what it will look like, the ending, middle or present, but I know He won’t allow me to be messed with outside of His plan.
And I can’t wait to see what is birthed.

My surgery is next Friday, 9/18. I would so LOVE and appreciate your prayers during this time and the healing that I am claiming. This is my season of Healing!
When (and if) I can’t talk, maybe I’ll come on here and just worship through this battle. I’m so thankful that I’m surrounded by His presence and the best family and friends I could ever imagine.

I’m believing this message for anyone reading this tonight ... Good Things Are Coming! It’s our season of healing and He is fighting the battle for you and me. What is He birthing in you? I bet if we look and seek enough, we will find it. He won’t allow us to miss it
