It's Not Pennsic Without Schaeffers

The Schaeffers are nice people. I'm not sure why the universe decided to dump on them this year, but I'm pretty sure their run of bad luck was meant for someone else. They have been diligently trying to get to Pennsic, but due to home repairs, unexpected expenses, lengthy hospital visits, and finally an entire automobile self-destructing while en route, they have decided Pennsic isn't in the cards for them this year. Now they have two weeks to sit around at home being bummed out that the one place they were hoping to detox is out of reach.

I say, bollocks. This is the SCA. The Schaeffers are beloved. I don't WANT to go to Pennsic without them, and I'm pretty certain that I know plenty of people who feel the same way. It's only Tuesday. Let's see if we can raise enough money to get them in a rented vehicle and at least have them there for War week. Come on folks! It won't be a proper Pennsic without them.
