One thing I love about my fanbase is the generosity and kindness we show to people. #BillsMafia sets the standard for that, and we have seen that with Pancho, with the Andy Dalton foundation, 26Shirts.com, and so many others.
This Christmas season, I am asking the good people of #BillsMafia to help one of their own. This past month, one of our favorite Twitter people, a great sports fan, a kind person, and a person that most people in #BillsMafia will know dealt with some adversity.
@SoCalBillsMafia (or, Amanda) is a single mother of two, and recently, she was laid off of work unexpectedly, and within a week, she was sideswiped in a hit and run accident, totaling her car. Insurance is fighting her on these funds because the culprit fled the scene. (Rumor has it that hooligan was a Patriots fan. No surprise there.)
Anyway, @SoCalBillsMafia has been such a positive, kind, and open presence in my life online, and I know she has been for many of you as well. This Christmas season, as we are reminded of the importance of giving, of blessing, and of charity, please consider giving a few dollars to make the season bright again for this family.
Let's make a #BillsMafia version of "It's a Wonderful Life," and help someone in need, and let's teach those other NFL fanbases how it's done!
Thanks so much. If you can't help, please share.
