Nina is a mother of two that had her life flip upside down when she walked into the ER for a tooth/gum abscess that she hoped IV antibiotics would fix right up. After 3 days of testing later, Nina was diagnosed with cancer, acute myeloid leukemia (AML). She started chemotherapy on Tuesday March 28, once in remission (because she is one hell of a fighter) she will need to be transferred to the City Of Hope in Duarte for a Bone Marrow transplant.
