Help Andrew Reclaim His Life

Donation protected

Please help support Bubba's fight for life, help to celebrate his many victories and honor his remarkable courage. We could so easily have lost our boy, our brother, our nephew, cousin, son, uncle, first crush, best mate, and friend...but thanks to his loyalty and his strength, to the amazing medical professionals who've pulled his body through, and to his very own WILL TO LIVE, and Thanks be to GOD, he still dwells among us. Because he had an unusual string of very serious injuries, chief among them multiple injuries to his brain, his body's regulatory responses went hay-wire, sending our Andrew into the proverbial Night...alone, to ride out the neurological storm, the fight of his young life; neurological spasms of his bleeding brain to which we were warned, he would likely succumb, never having the chance to say "Hi, Im Andrew" again. Or laugh his goofy, lovable laugh, or tell his jokes, or smile THAT Bubba smile again. So many loved Andrew, so many more than even I, as his mother, knew. And I find each time some sweet person shares a memory they have of him with me, it is clear to us that he changed their lives just like he changed mine, in a very deep, powerful, almost quiet....almost gentle way. Those are bubbas qualities. And they make this tired, shabby world seem liveable, bright and Holy even. For these reasons, I am in constant communication  with Jesus and trying with all my might to be Andrews steward as he navigates the murky waters of brain injury recovery. Everything costs money, and it is more than I make while standing vigil 24/7, tending all at once to his physical, cognitive, emotional, and spiritual needs. There is a large gap between what I can provide and the space he needs to be for optimal recovey...my heart, my mind, my body and my resources...are stretched thin, and I am asking this help to continue driving behind him through the rain and fog, calling out encouragements, cheering him on...being his voice, his advocate, his cheerleader, and memory-keeper.. wiping his be-hind.... (again??) 8) and of course, rubbing his feet. Please help if you can, or pass this link along if you cant. Andy and I GREATLY appreciate either, from the very bottoms of our...feet...and hearts xxx
